I always said that my business was given to me from God. Before yesterday’s session I had a couple of things in mind besides smashing a cake. I couldn’t come to terms with having to buy yet another prop(they get expensive) for the session. I went to bed a little disappointed but I knew things would work out. I wanted to give Luke a bath after he had smashed his cake and when I was sitting down on the floor I saw a glimmer from the corner of my eyes. There it was the shiny tub that I had my heart set out on. Mom already had the prop that I wanted to use and I had NO clue that it was there. God is so good! I hope to do more smash the cake sessions! I had a blast..
2013 has already been a crazy ride. Filled with a lot of newborns. This week I had the opportunity to shoot a client’s second baby boy. I took newborns of her oldest TWO years ago. It was a lot of fun seeing them all again.
Cannot forget big brother
Sometimes I don’t realize how fast a year has gone by until I have a client call me to tell me that their newborn is now a year old! Sweet Luke you have grown so much. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to photograph you again
Here he is as a newborn and then now a year old!
Pleased to introduce sweet Annabelle. My goal for 2013 is to learn new things that is why I have included some macro shots. I also needed a little bit of sunshine here today since we have had rain and fog for the last five days.
Pregnancy is one of the beautiful times in a woman’s life. It is such an awesome feeling to be able to capture a mother kneeling who is smiling because she can feel her little one kicking inside of her. I LOVE doing maternity sessions. Each pregnant mom has a different story and I can always connect with them. Melissa you are so gorgeous! I cannot wait to meet Raelyn(such a beautiful name).
