One of my goals for 2015 was to photograph a Cesarean birth. I had no idea that it would happen so soon. I feel completely honored to have been a part of such a beautiful birthing experience and would like to thank Dr. Perry for allowing me to be in the OR. I also would like to thank Sweet baby Mali’s mom for asking me to photograph her beautiful birth. I am extremely honored to be a part of such a special moment in people’s lives. Here’s to more blogging for 2015.
This past weekend I had a beautiful impromptu family session! I had never met this family but I felt like we just clicked. They drove all the way from Tampa, FL. I hope we get to work together again! So much fun!
There is no doubt in my mind that I was meant to shoot at the beach! This gorgeous momma just made it easier for me. I haven’t been posting on the blog for a while because Nicole and I have been busy with our new business A Captured Journey. (You can find us on facebook). We are awaiting the arrival of two new spring babies and I am still shooting spring family session. If you know of anyone who is interested in capturing their birth let us know. As for now off to wait for sweet baby Q.
On October 9, 2013 sweet Savannah Hurtley was born into the world and has forever changed my life. I feel so honored to have been there to witness such a beautiful birth. The Hurtley’s will forever hold a special place in my heart and so will their little girl. I am honored to say that Savannah has taught me to not be afraid and to trust in myself and in God to do things that I never thought I could do. Thank you Hurtley family and to all the wonderful staff at Cape Canaveral who made me feel so welcome during this experience. This year for Christmas our family will pray and light a candle to remember Sweet Savannah and her precious time here on earth.
I knew the moment I met Ema that we would be friends. I met her outside of my daugther’s preschool and was stunned by her beauty! The Lam’s have five gorgeous children! Not to mention two sets of twins and they are all under the age of 5! Their grandmother flew all the way in from Hong Kong and I got to photograph their family! I felt really honored. I had such a fun time running around the beach and chasing after the kids. I really enjoyed seeing Eric’s grandmother holding the twins such sweet moments to be treasured forever. Thank you Lam family for allowing me to capture those moments that will last a life time.
